MOEV Inc.'s "Next Generation of Storage - Virtual Battery" VBESS wins the CALSEED award from the California Energy Commission
The innovation, Virtual Battery Energy Storage System (VBESS), provides cost effective virtual system with storage for both grid and site host. The system leverages physical stationary storage, EV batteries, Solar PV and managed load of EV charging to create a composite storage entity, with an interface to software that provides economic benefit, grid health, and reduced GHG emissions. By unifying the various storage elements via cloud software, VBESS delivers efficient services for lower cost.
